Holiday hours
Like many, Avalon Sexual Assault Centre staff are taking winter holidays to relax and spend time with family and friends. The office will close on Dec. 24 at 12 p.m. noon and will re-open on Jan. 2, 2013 at 8:30 a.m.. Update: Girls Run the World
On Oct. 26, the Avalon Sexual Assault Centre co-hosted 'Girls Run the World', in celebration of International Day of the Girl. The day of creativity and empowerment for girls aged 10 to eighteen, featured hula hooping, poetry, screen-printing, dancing and kite-making.
