On March 14, Avalon Sexual Assault Centre held a morning symposium to look at community responses to sexualized violence. There were 95 people in attendance from 52 different organizations and agencies. Participants included people from the Departments of Health and Community Services, as well as members of the university, police, and legal communities.
There was plenty of positive feedback, and we hope to be able to do more public events in the future.
