Avalon Sexual Assault Centre is partnering with the Mi’kmaq Native Friendship Centre to hold a community launch around issues of sexualized violence. We are holding space to hear from community members and organizations on their work in resisting sexualized violence. Sexualized violence is a community issue and can only be ended through responding and resisting collectively. Join us for an engaging panel, dinner provided by the loaded ladle, spoken word, and music as we harmonize and collectively resist sexualized violence.

Dinner will be vegan and gluten-free
The space is wheelchair accessible through the side door
Gender neutral bathroom
Childcare available (please email publicawareness@avaloncentre.ca to pre-register)
