On May 3rd, Avalon Sexual Assault Centre held its annual Light After Dark Fundraiser at the Company House. Money raised through this fundraiser help Avalon cover the expenses of our services including therapeutic counselling, community education and professional training, and the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program in Halifax.
The fundraiser included performances by Vicky Traynor and Erin Costelo. We’d like to thank all of our performers, people who bought tickets and silent auction items, and everyone who donated their time and money to Avalon’s work.
